Buddy System

One-on-One Lessons with Filipino Students!

One-on-One Lessons with Filipino Students!

The Buddy System is LCIC’s unique and highly popular program where international students pair with local Filipino students. Buddies help with language learning, homework and lesson preparation, review, and even chatting. Friendly and cheerful Filipino students will be your reliable support!

Random Matching via Web System

Filipino students are randomly matched, allowing you to meet many local students. Since many Filipino students are friendly and outgoing, you can improve your language skills through active conversations while naturally learning about different cultures.

Small Groups Make It Easy to Make Friends!

Each Buddy group consists of one Filipino student and 1-2 international students. The small group setting helps even shy students make friends naturally. After class, you can go out with your buddy and learn about local activities—a great opportunity for cultural exchange!
